A Wayne Thiebaud inspired work from a Watercolors course with Jen Lambert.

I had such an agonizing introduction to watercolors (mostly problems with color intensity).  I wanted to do so well and yet I couldn't.  It was like having a word on the tip of the tongue, but not being able to say it - for days into weeks.  My restlessness would have been worse had I not been determined to be adroit in the medium done best by JMW Turner and Paul Cezanne.

It became my oil painting propaedeutic.
